Currently serving at Iona College, Eric teaches music lessons, courses, and directs the Iona Ensemble. He also teaches for the City University of New York's Harmony Program in New York City and maintains his private studio in NYC and on Long Island teaching clarinet, saxophone, and flute to all ages. Eric is the founding clarinetist of the Victory Players Chamber Orchestra, sponsored by the Massachusetts International Festival for the Arts.
Past appointments include faculty positions at East Stroudsburg University, the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, and an Instructor-of-Record position in Music Theory at Stony Brook University.
Eric completed his doctoral studies in Clarinet Performance at Stony Brook University, studying with Alan Kay (Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Julliard).
